Ultrasound has long
been considered part of the ‘bread and butter’ of an imaging
department. The subspecialization of ultrasound in recent years has
left many departments unable to provide the level of expertise
demanded by both referring physicians and the ACR accreditation
standards for ultrasound. Vascular ultrasound, musculoskeletal
ultrasound and obstetrical ultrasound have become subspecialities of
their own, and are often lost by radiology departments to

fellowship trained ultrasonologists with years of academic
experience. We offer full vascular imaging, including PVR (pulse
volume recording), ABI (Ankle/brachial index), carotid, transcranial
doppler, peripheral (arterial and venous doppler) and renal vascular
analysis. We also provide full service coverage for obstetrics
(including 4D), abdominal, thyroid, musculoskeletal and breast
ultrasound.
