General (or plain film) radiology is
often overlooked because it is considered ‘routine.’ However, plain
films make up the highest volume in virtually all radiology
departments and private offices. With all of the subspecialty
training going into cross sectional imaging techniques, the art of
interpreting plain films has steadily declined.
Plain radiography, or CR (computed
radiography) is an ideal modality for teleradiology. Third Eye
