Noninvasive imaging techniques for
the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease has greatly altered cardiac
diagnostics. In the past decade, magnetic resonance imaging has
gradually assumed more importance in the workup of cardiovascular
disease, and the role of the radiologist in cardiac diagnosis has
been resurrected. The recent development of Cardiac CT, including
Calcium Scoring and CT angiography, has greatly improving
radiology’s integration into cardiovascular medicine. However, it
has also placed demands on radiology practices to develop expertise
in an area that has been out of the realm of most radiology training
programs since the mid 1970‘s, when echocardiography successfully
pulled cardiac imaging away from radiologists and put it into the
hands of cardiologists.
We offer the highest level of cardiac
imaging expertise, both in terms of how to perform appropriate
imaging protocols for CT and MRI and also in image reconstruction
and interpretation.
TET Subspecialty cardiac imaging will
help your practice maintain control of cardiac diagnostic imaging,
including calcium scoring, coronary CT angiography with diagramatic
reporting, cardiac MRI with perfusion and cine.
